Once upon a time, in Uccle, there was a Swiss diplomat...
The story of Cogito's expansion in Switzerland begins in the inspiring setting of our centre in Uccle (Brussels).
A Swiss diplomat from canton of Vaudhad moved to Belgium for a six-month assignment. He was faced with a major challenge: integrating his two children into an unfamiliar education system. So he set out to find a solution adapted to the specific profile of his two children.
His youngest son was preparing to enter secondary school, while his eldest was adjusting to the demands of university.
So, determined to give his children the best possible chance of success, he turned to Cogito, renowned for its expertise in educational support.
Our teams quickly took stock of the situation and put in place a tailor-made support plan, combining academic excellence for the first and personalised support for the second.
Thanks to the Cogito method combining rigour and empathy, the two young people regained their confidence and serenity.
Moreover, this family success had a profound effect on the diplomat.
During an informal chat with François, one of the pillars of Cogito, he expressed his admiration: "In Switzerland, we don't have anything like this, and yet the need is immense.
These words sounded like a call to take on a new challenge.
So, inspired by this encounter, the Cogito founding team decided to broaden its horizons. Geneva was the first stop on this Swiss adventure, where the welcome lived up to expectations. Cogito's reputation quickly spread, leading to the opening of offices in Lausanne, Berne and beyond. Here's how Cogito is reinventing educational support in Switzerland.
